How are the career development opportunities at Endeavor Health?

I love my team of physicians, APPs, nurses, MAs, and PCTs - we all share the same goal of high quality patient care and working as a team to get the job done.

There is not much room for career advancement as a lead APP or in leadership

Good co-workers and physicians who really care for patients.

Bad insurance, low pay raises, few opportunities to advance career.

Great teamwork, supportive administration, and opportunities for career development

Pay is not as competitive as other healthcare organizations

Historically - Northshore built its reputation on valuing employees and fostering collaboration, recognition of effort, and a culture centered on well-being.

After several acquisitions, Northshore )Endeavor) is not who they used to be. They certainly don't treat everyone equally - playing favorites at the same time racial discrimination.

Good opportunities to move up and learn new skills

Poor work life balance when working a clinical role , often having to leave late

* Great mission and vision * Post merger unified system is really starting to gain efficiency * Competitive compensation and benefits * Positive functional teamwork * Large and diverse employee base

* Lack of career progression/development and opportunities to advance * IT lacks a vision and clear roadmap for non-clinical apps * Cross-functional teaming -- especially with IT -- a challenge * IT resource availability and prioritization a constant hurdle

I worked on the med surg floor at Elmhurst Hospital and I really enjoyed the culture there. I had a lot of opportunities to gain new knowledge.

Management has favorites. They say they are willing to accommodate anyone but when I had a family member pass out of state I was told I had two days of bereavement. Come to find out I only had one day and the manager took time from my PTO to cover their mistake.

Good people and career mobility afforded to you

Busier department than most, not always feels like your being compensated appropriately without having to play games.

Great environment to work at, however there are not a lot of opportunities to grow within the lab

Some co-workers can be unprofessional

Competitive benefit package, career development, and programs that promote team member wellbeing

There are no cons from my experience.
