Do employees at Dentsu receive pay raises?

      Dentsu reviews

Great work/balance - low pay, no promotions

      Current employee
      Pittsburgh, PA

      Business outlook

      Pros

Great work/life balance. Unlimited PTO that I’ve definitely been able to take advantage of and I don’t work past 5:30, but I’ve set clear boundaries with managers from the start. I have heard that not all teams/clients work this way and way work late and/or don’t get as much vacation flexibility but it seems most people do.

      Cons

Have not done promotions or annual pay raise in 3 years! The clients fund your promotion so getting a promotion/advancing your career is next to impossible.

      Cons

overuse of offshore labor, benefits payroll contributions go up each year and are not matched with cost of living pay increases due to no topline growth

No yearly raises or clear paths to promotion

      Senior account executive
      Current employee

      CEO approval
      Business outlook

      Pros

Benefits are good, PTO, healthcre, etc although healthcare costs have just gone up

      Cons

No yearly pay raises to keep up with inflation is highly irritating, especially when people leave the company and you take on their work and they don't hire someone else so you know the money is there. Also there's not much room for growth. Bosses carve out no clear path to getting you to that next step.

      Pros

      Surrounded by smart, collaborative individuals

      Cons

Two years of no merit or salary increases, while inflation is SPIKING. The CEO took it to a town hall to say our laziness is why we aren't receiving increases. I know of multiple colleagues who have started part-time jobs to make ends meet. Promotions are rare and incredibly slow.
