What is the hiring process like at Cox Media Group?

The benefits and culture are great. Everyone works well together and hard. The job is fun and something new every day. Great, normal hours for an engineer with understanding and flexibility for appointments and family needs. One can even chat with the GM easily if desired.

The pay is not adequate for the workload, especially as the owners cut back jobs, forcing everyone else to pick up the slack. Other than annual pay/merit increases, there is little incentive to take on more responsibilities.

I did the same job but the new owners made it part time as opposed to full-time which I was previously but I love my job, maintain it until this most recent Purging of talent

New management just uses bots as opposed to media personalities and community supporters. We do so much work in the community to engage our listeners and keep them involved and engaged with the radio station beyond the music. The new set of owners didn’t seem to care about that at all.
