How are the career development opportunities at CloudKitchens?

Working at Cloudkitchens has been an incredible experience. It’s a true startup environment where you’re constantly learning at a fast pace and challenged to grow. There are plenty of opportunities for career development, and the culture is collaborative, supportive, and inspiring. I get to work with extremely talented people every day, and that motivates me to bring my best.

No major cons so far.

- There are opportunities everywhere for ambitious engineers looking to grow their skillset and tackle real-world problems. - Tons of talented engineers to learn from and work alongside. - The tech org is fairly flat, so you can make an impact and have your voice heard regardless of your level. - Abundant opportunities for career advancement and growth that is supported by management. Flexibility in moving across teams. - Decent office energy and culture given the full (5-day a week) RTO policy. Some company sponsored events every now and again. - Compensation is roughly inline (or better in some areas) with competition - Senior management seems to have been finding their footing over the last year or so and has become more transparent and results oriented.

- Full (5-day a week) RTO policy could be a con for those who are seeking remote work. The company has a pretty hard "no remote work" policy. Some like it, some don't. YMMV - Not many "perks" for employees outside of some standards like commuter benefits, employer HSA contributions, some simple office snacks, a sponsored office event every now and again.

- The people. CloudKitchens is filled with scrappy, smart, kind, collaborative (and hilarious) people at the heart of it. It is truly one of the most diverse organizations I have been a part of, and the way we all come together is a force to be reckoned with. - Massive growth opportunities. CloudKitchens really cares about long term career development for their employees, and I have seen several colleagues supported in their career goals, whether its a transition to a new team or getting promoted on their current team. If you go above and beyond, it will be recognized and rewarded. - Really great culture overall. Lots of team building activities/happy hours/potlucks etc.

- 5 days a week RTO. I wish we could operate on a more flexible hybrid schedule to get the best of both worlds. Love the office environment, but more flexibility and balance would be amazing.
