Pros
I met some of the best people I know at this company. They were all so kind, smart, and hard working, and I learned so much in working with them.
Cons
It's very possible that economically the company was in a tough place anyways, but I don't think it should've been reflected so aggressively in the way they started treating employees. I didn't appreciate being treated like a kid who could only work well under supervision, while most of the company remained remote. Not only that, but there was a major discrepancy between the treatment of those who were in office vs those who were remote, the latter also losing benefits. The layoffs were handled poorly, the townhall leak was somehow handled even worse, and they killed DEI right after the CEO said what he did. Career pathing at the company is non-existent and the pay isn't up to industry standard. When I brought everything up in my exit interview, they acknowledged that everyone who had left before me had said the same things, but there was nothing they could do about it.
