Terrible Hierarchical Culture, Micromanaging, Low Paid & Overworked

      Customer service representative
      Former employee
      Melbourne
      Recommend
      CEO approval
      Business outlook

      Pros

They previously had allowed WFH however this is now at the discretion of the individual manager.

      Cons

      - Overworked, constantly being pushed to clear caseload backlogs. Managers not willing to pay overtime without extreme scrutiny. - Feeling like you are being micromanaged every second is stressful, and diminishes the overall workplace culture where people are scared to speak out to improve things. - Lack of career growth opportunities unless you’re in the good books. Positions advertised internally are rife with nepotism. - Low paid for the industry standard. - Using a terrible CRM platform application called “LARA” which runs off Windows 98 software since 1999. It’s a joke that they are still using that in 2025. It’s clunky, outdated and has many UX errors and pitfalls. It strains your eyes just trying to read it.
