VERY MENTALLY TAXING. There were constant changes. “Shift bids” are horrible. Just hire people for every shift. Yall are always hiring, anyway!

Abysmal management and job insecurity for new hires

      Customer service agent
      Current employee
      Tucson, AZ
      Recommend
      CEO approval
      Business outlook

      Pros

      None really come to mind.

      Cons

The company hired me for a training class and then let everyone from the training class go days before we were set to start working. Who lays off new hires a week after they’re hired? Truly abysmal management and an unprofessional company any one should be wary of starting a career with. They do not value employees and your employment there will never be secure.

      People are not numbers

      Team leader
      Current employee
      Quezon City, National Capital Region
      Recommend
      CEO approval
      Business outlook

      Pros

Have a lot of awesome people you work with, very helpful and they have the positive attitude to help get you by.

      Cons

After the move, pay for agents are very low. New hire screening is subpar, this led to sending agents to a telco account without enough innate skills to be competitive. Clients for the telco company is expecting us to be on top of the pack, but with low pay grade and subpar screening (even asking for no telco experience) we need extra time to make the agents competitive enough. Sadly the clients are looking at numbers not the situation, we cannot be on top if we are not given enough time to help agents. They also wanted to do PIP weekly. Leader's deliverables are too many, incentives are non existent, for a pay grade that we can get working as an agent, working for Afni is not so much afnimazing.

      Gaslighting Hell

      Sales
      Current employee
      Houston, TX
      Recommend
      CEO approval
      Business outlook

      Pros

Other coworkers are usually vulnerable and marginalized, younger and unskilled at first job, have a lot of empathy for coworkers and customers

      Cons

Nothing is real. All leadership is playing a role to force employees up of obey, or out. They are all HR except HR. If you report anything to HR, will be very nice and "helpful" but you'll be gone in 6 months or less. Extremely retaliatory even if try to leave on good terms. Phish your calls to learn your personal traits to use against you later. The main business is moving people around and getting new people in new training that doesn't train for the job to succeed. Claim to be no sales only CSR but emphasize sales to cap next Bonus structure they control with non Sales metrics ie: attendance. Do not accept religious employees since it's stronger than loyalty to the company. They love the unwitting naive anxious to move up, financially insecure new employees who earn the majority of profits. The most skilled are the highest scrutinized and never move up, only lateral and then harassed until have to quit
