Pros
Having full control over your schedule means you can take time to do other things without needing approval, such as taking trips. It's very interesting work because not all events are the same and you can end up working in some really cool places/homes. The people you meet are from all walks of life.
Cons
Communication with office management can be difficult. Ignored emails are common. Most employees don't even go to the office/warehouse/kitchen because they are all on-site event workers. There's a huge disconnect between departments and office politics is an issue.
