I am a Software Engineer seeking an AI/ML Internship or Entry-Level AI Engineer position where I can learn, contribute, and grow my skills in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning. My AI learning journey includes: • Completed the Deep Learning and Neural Networks course by Andrew Ng. • Studied the book "Understanding Deep Learning" (2023 edition). • Currently following Andrej Karpathy's "Neural Networks: Zero to Hero" series.

How and when do you disclose in interviews that you were let go from your last job after being placed on a PIP? Do you have to disclose it at all? Do they even ask? And can I frame why I left in a way that isn't a complete lie? TLDR: Got put on a PIP and removed from my project at my last firm. Wasn't performing well for a variety of reasons. Left on otherwise good terms-my managers praised my attitude and integrity. Just couldn't cut it:/ have been working hard the past few months to up-skill

Sometimes unemployment feels less like a pause and more like rebuilding from scratch. Have you ever felt like you were reinventing yourself during this process? I'm trying to move industries after 2 decades, so the reinvention part is real in that aspect but I also want to reinvent who I am as an employee with my next job by building boundaries relatively early on.

I could use some advice I was recently approached about an executive leadership opportunity at another organization. On paper, it seems like an excellent career opportunity and one that could provide significant professional growth. The challenge is that over the past year, I have become deeply invested in my current community. I’ve built strong relationships with residents, staff, and families, and the thought of leaving is far more emotional than I expected. Is this normal to feel?
