Pros
Working at TalkingTree is not only fun but incredibly flexible. You're encouraged to learn new skills, think outside of the box, take initiative and not be afraid to fail. The owner is incredibly understanding, but also super passionate about his work, the company, and the industry as a whole. Depending on your position, there is the opportunity to travel for events. If you stay long enough (I think a year/year and a half) TTC offers an awesome 401k set up that the company contributes to. The company is also incredibly flexible with time off. We're also growing, so the sky is the limit career opportunity wise. The more business we get/you bring in, the more room for possibilities!
Cons
The event industry ebbs and flows throughout the year, so you'll have months that you're completely slammed and others, where you're ramping up for those busy months. Some may consider this a con, but personally, I like it because I know exactly what time of year I should book my vacations. You must be a self starter, willing to learn, step out of your comfort zone, and unafraid to ask questions. Again, not a con if you embody those characteristics/abilities.
