      Great firm doing exciting design work!

      Pros

      New office space is fantastic. People are friendly and emphasis is given to projects that have a positive impact on their physical context and communities. Competitive salaries, profit sharing, and excellent benefits package.

      Cons

      The leadership transition following retirement of some senior principals has been a little rough at times. Sometimes slow-moving but it seems like that's changing for the better.

      - Strong emphasis on design excellence and sustainability - Collaborative studio culture—very open to new ideas from all levels - Leadership is approachable and genuinely supportive of professional growth - Beautiful office space with good work-life balance (most of the time) - Good mentorship opportunities and exposure to high-profile institutional projects

      - Like many architecture firms, deadlines can sometimes create bursts of overtime - Compensation is decent but could be more competitive, especially for junior staff - Some studio processes could be more streamlined—too many internal meetings at times - Limited presence outside the Pacific Northwest
