      Too many managers, not enough workers

      Pros

      It is a very family friendly company with good hours for working, and still being able to get home at a decent time. Most employees are good to work with and care about your well being.

      Cons

      Paychecks are bounced, Management isn't moving forward fast enough to keep up with current market demands, New software clients have to buy outdated and obsolete hardware to run the software as it currently isn't supportable on new OS platforms (64 bit environments). Screaming at one another is a common place in the office. Some unethical advice was passed to clients to fix bad accounting mistakes made in past years.

      Pros

      +Freedom to choose which project to tackle first, you are not put in a box and only allowed to do one task +Easily able to get time to speak with higher up people in the company. I literally work next to the company owner, who is a delightful person to be around. +You get to come up with creative solutions to problems, and throw ideas around the office confident that someone will always take them seriously. +The office culture is largely friendly, even during days where there are a great deal of calls coming in.

      Cons

      -One of the main bosses, can be a bit eccentric, and may take you away from your project for an extended period of time during the day. -There may be a few times where a higher ranking person in the company is not available. -Some of the back-end systems for their products are based on older software or programming languages, so you may need to work with languages that are past their end-of-life from the manufacturers.
