      This is a wonderful environment to explore and learn. The kiddos are great and the staff is very supportive.

      Pros

      - I’ve grown a lot here! I started off as a closer at 17, and now I’m a part of the admin team and also the pre-k lead teacher. -The families are the best! There are so many families that stay with IXL for a long time, and you feel close to the parents and the children! - I enjoy the curriculum, it has structure but also allows freedom for lead teachers when it comes to lesson planning -I’ve worked with infant and pre-k, the office has been great with giving a helping hand when needed for both age groups. -I rarely ever work over 40 hours a week, which I’m grateful for, they don’t want to burn you out! -At one point, I tried working at a different daycare in Livonia for a bit: and I came right back to IXL! I missed the consistency, my coworkers, the families, and the support. I was way happier at IXL! And I was welcomed back with open arms. -401k -Bluecross insurance options -Self-help book club to earn extra money/ training hours

      Cons

      -I wish there was more paid vacation time -Lead teachers get a little bit of prep time in the morning, but I wish we had more of a separate time for that.

      IXL is a truly amazing place! After being with the company for over 2+ years, there is no place I would rather be! The consistent hours and schedule, weekends off, friendly and bubbly staff, along with the truly amazing children and families make IXL a wonderful place for all!

      Cons

      Unfortunately with the recent COVID-19 pandemic, it has been difficult in regards to the high employee turnover rate. IXL is in need of high quality, strong and driven teachers to help lead each classroom. IXL provides children with a phenomenal education, and needs first rate teachers to help meet our high educational standards.
