      -Great place to work to clear your mind or are attending school. -Physically Demanding but keeps you in great shape -Learn new skills everyday -Public Service

      -No overtime -pay isn’t all that great -Not enough Hours

      Pros

      It's nice to go to work and feel like you're contributing to something positive happening within the community. There is a very genuine, friendly, passionate group of employees at the MetroParks.

      Cons

      As with any job there are some challenges, but I don't have any negative criticism personally. I've known other employees to have some difficult dealings with the upper level management, but they're not common.

      Pros

      The atmosphere is excellent and encouraging. I felt like I belonged and like we were all in it together. It was fun to work outside and get to serve the public in such a great way.

      Cons

      The pay is somewhat lacking compared to other like agencies but that's what you can expect when working for an agency that is tax funded. There's a union that's pretty much useless as well that really should be voted out.
