Pros

the pay was decedent. $15 per hour.

Cons

Aside from being miss lead on how many hours I would work (they said 40-45 a week and with full availability I received between 12-20 hours per week), and my schedule being erratic. And having our team leader abandon us without product for 3 hours in the heat with all of our belongings in the car, and I might add we were abandoned like this on more than one occasion. And being scheduled to be at events and places we were not LEGALY aloud to be and getting a ticket that I had to pay. And being scheduled for two 3 hour shifts in a row so as that they would not be obligated to give us a break. My biggest problem with this company is that I worked through three pay periods (6 weeks) and after not getting paid quite, told them I would except all that I was due to be paid in full within 1 week (the legal amount of time in my area) They sent me a cheque for 32.00 dollars ( I was due around 700). I then had to go through the labour board and it took three months to be settled and for me to get paid ever cent I was due. I do not recommend anyone work for this company and further more to not support any company I witness using this as their third party 'gorilla marketing team', in my case degree.

Pros

The pay is always good (minimum $15/hr, I've worked some promos for $20), and they sometimes cover your expenses if you have to drive. The uniforms for most of the programs are cute and not dorky. The trainings I've had for all my programs have been thorough, so there's no confusion in field like with some of the other promo companies I've worked. The coordinator even came to Montreal (they're Toronto based) to train for two separate programs, so I got to put a name to a face. Communicating with the staff is also really easy and convenient. They're young, so they text a lot, which is nice. Most of the promos I've worked give you a set schedule and then you just pick the shifts you want to work. They have a lot of different promos running at the same time, and I've been on 3 at once before. You get to work with a lot of different brands and people.

Cons

Depending on the program, you sometimes have to send a picture through a text message so they can make sure that you're there and that your uniforms is on properly. A lot of the programs, especially outdoor ones, happen rain or shine...working in the rain sucks. Also, because of this, some shifts get cancelled at the last minute because of weather, but they usually reschedule them so you still get your hours.

Pros

Reef Moxie has definitely saved me over the past months promotions for 16 dollars an hour as a student are absolutely amazing! considering most of my friends work other very stressful jobs for other companies 10 - 11 an hour... A few last minute promotions may even pay 19 hr! :) Everyone in the office has an amazing bright attitude and it makes the work environment very stress free and upbeat for the ambassador teams & the ambassadors are always easy to get along with and willing to help each other out. Also the direct deposit every 2 weeks is great & saves you a lot of time for not always having to head to the bank and deposit every single pay day.

Cons

A con would be that obviously in this particular industry you can't work every single day. & the weather in Toronto isn't the greatest during the winter as I'm sure we all know. A few last minute promotions may catch you a tad off guard at times.
