Pros

THERE ARE ABSOLUTELY NO PROS

Cons

This company is complete and total scam. They prey on job seekers who are looking for actual work and promise them a lavish career if they complete the management training program. However, hardly anybody actually completes this and most people quit after a few weeks b/c they realize the company is a scam. They advertise themselves as a prestigious marketing company but in reality all they want you to do is go to Walmart all day and harass people into buying terrible Xfinity internet products that nobody wants with the promise that if you do well you will be able to run your own business. They also advertise a fairly decent salary on their job postings but in the interview you find out its all commission based. It takes hours to sell someone one product and you'll end up making like $10-20 for that sale. YOU WILL END UP LOSING MONEY WHILE WORKING HERE! You will also be forced to put tons of miles on your car to get to Walmarts all over the state (up to an hour away) without the company compensating you. My Advice: don't go anywhere near this company and look for an actual job.

Pros

Absolutely no pros, most likely a pyramid scheme

Cons

The whole process was extremely questionable. I started off with a phone interview, then an in-person interview at this run-down office in Hartford. The employees at Raven were constantly reminding us that they were renovating a brand new office in downtown West Hartford (its been three years since they've said this, so I doubt they ever had this "new" office in the first place). Everyone in the office was constantly reminding all the interns about how much money one can make with sticking to the leadership program, and the internship began doing "fieldwork" and learning different marketing strategies. On the first day on the job, we were all split into groups, each group having a "leader" with an iPad. They began to tell us that we were all going to our destinations to begin this fieldwork. We get in the car and my leader told us we were going to the Walmart in New Haven. Once we arrive, we have to set up an Xfinity table, selling different Xfinity packages to the customers at Walmart. In the job description and throughout the whole interview process, nothing was brought to anyone's attention about selling Xfinity packages at Walmarts around CT. This whole "business" is definitely a pyramid scheme. I quit after three days but they owe me over $100. I have left many voicemails and emails in regard to the money I have made but no one has ever returned to me about this. Save your time and do not work for this "business".
