Pros
- Provides good learning environment for new hires (nurses) - Full Electronic Charting for Nurses/Physicians - Dedicated & helpful Clinical Nurse Educators (CNE) - Nice staff and coworkers
Cons
- Highly political (Managers) - Staff are overworked (Part-time contract but gets full time hours [always the case]) - Management does not listen unless something wrong happens - Shady payroll style (Using pen and paper when marking if you worked or not) - Management highly discourage people who like to advance (e.g., if you are studying, they deem it as a threat for staffing & schedule you anyway).
