Pros
Island Hospitality is a nice company to work for. They have been very supportive of the changes at the property level and have made every effort to improve the hotel in all facets. When issues are brought to upper management, they take the time to listen and find ways to fix the issue for the long term not just in the short term. During times of transition and turnover, the corporate office has provided the property with all of the support and encouragement needed to weather the storm and continue on a path toward greater success for the property and the company. Hard work is acknowledged and appreciated from all aspects of the corporate office.
Cons
There has been some turnover and a lot of growth happening in the corporate office which leads to some confusion and delay in answers. The up side is that the Regional managers and VP's are always available for support when this happens.
