Pros
- really great starter job for students that prepares you for a future job. - meet good coworkers who will end up as lifelong friends - depending on shift however, usual opening shifts start at 11:15 a.m which is quite nice to have - free movies & 25% discount on food
Cons
- can be toxic because of management (*not all locations are the same & the specific location I worked at is extremely toxic and just completely absurd) - 0 work life balance due to no bookoff ‘policy’ at Imagine Cinemas (probably illegal) - nepotism (pay & half only goes towards favourites) - racist towards certain customers from certain races - racist towards employees towards certain employees - not accepting of constructive criticism - extremely rude & biased towards certain employees on certain days for certain things. - not criticizing HR however HR should also conduct anonymous employee surveys based on management & work experience more frequently
