Pros
It felt good to help New Mexican girls get the skills and experience they need to succeed.
Cons
I would strongly caution anyone considering working here. During my time, I observed serious concerns around how employee benefits and paid time off were mismanaged, with issues that were never resolved. The organization also relied on constant turnover—eliminating roles and expecting remaining staff to absorb multiple jobs, leading to burnout. Multiple employees raised concerns internally and with agencies like the New Mexico Office of the Attorney General and the New Mexico Department of Workforce Solutions, but due to negligence of the Board, meaningful change never followed. Because these issues involved senior leadership, there was no realistic path to resolution. I ultimately resigned for good cause connected with the work, because I proved their illegal and unethical actions. This determination was upheld by a judge and I was granted unemployment benefits after presenting substantial documentation supporting these concerns. I would not recommend this workplace.
