Pros
Established Professional Relationships with coworkers, 2- 1 week Shutdowns, Education Assistance, Facilities have nice infrastructure (gyms, break rooms, cafe)
Cons
Nepotism is high in this company, many family members and friends get first pick towards promotional opportunities for current/new positions If you are a minority with the exception of Japanese don’t expect advancement especially as a woman (only 2 black directors and they are men) Transfer of Knowledge lacks - CVI literally circulates directors from one facility to the next so no form of teaching/learning for new potential leaders Buddy buddy system - all directors and above either live in the same neighborhood or are best friends HR kissed managements butt and will RETALIATE against their employees, so must members are scared to even bring complaints to HR CVI pays for education assistance but once degree is attained no promotional advancement, degrees do not matter when hiring The list goes on and on, that CVI should consider improving in
