Pros

Not much... If your upper management Shareholders

Cons

The greed of upper management is the downfall here, i love the way they portray the business as being loved by the customer... So why so many complaints??? i tell you why because the call centre and national accounts promise the world... when in fact at ground level.. warehouse..pond life we call ourselves because thats how we are made to feel, have pressure heaped upon them.. warehouses shutting down with job losses.. their work being put on another warehouse maybe 2 others.. no extra staff to deal with it.. shoddy forktrucks breaking down consistantly, 10 hour days plus late finishes BUT no overtime paid (maybe at flat rate if there is} and i'm sure i saw upper management actually getting blood out of a stone.. Someone.. or some people are getting rich off the back of a lot of damn hard workers and loyal ones at that.. WAKE UP. They have a mission statement something on the lines of.. EMPLOY RETAIN.. PROMOTE.. TALENT.. TEAM.. off the top of my head. This statement is total rubbish... There is ZERO chance of promotion and no matter how hard you work or get results.. no matter what is said in your appraisals YOU WILL GET STEPPED OVER BY OUTSIDERS WITH NO EXPERIENCE IN THE COMPANY OR BUSINESS. All the glossy pictures and wonderful words on Bunzl's websites are a joke.. in fact misleading and embarassing. Left after 10 years of loyalty and promises turning to dust... again and again.... Im not the only one who says this.. there are employers stuck there who agree... BELIEVE ME...

Pros

Overall, the company is a large family, at least in the St Louis IT team. Was very happy there, but was lured away by money. If given the chance, I would return in a heartbeat. The team was amazing and the culture was supportive. I should have never left.

Cons

Some of the tech is s little behind. They are working to improve and become current, but a large company takes time.

Pros

It's an easy Job the system they use its relatively easy to understand and perform your job.

Cons

Where should I start from the I worked on the night shift for about a week and realized this job wasn't for me from working 16 to 18-hour days for reasons unknown the as400 system goes down at 0400 in the morning yes you are still working at this time the processes that are put in place makes zero sense from employees working from 5pmto 5am or sometimes 5pm to 9am in the morning truly makes no sense if you are into staying late, I don’t have a life or you don’t cherish the quality of your life. This place is definitely for you, but it's one of the worst jobs I’ve ever tried. It only took me one week to realize I wasn’t gonna be there anymore or coming back. One thing that offended me was how callous and nonchalant they are about you working 16 to 18 hours as a supervisor. I was dumbfounded, as if it were a normal occurrence. I don’t care how much money they’re paying me. I am not working consistently; 16 to 20, or 18, hour days are truly ridiculous. It is a revolving door. They are not gonna have supervisors. Stay there for a long period of time, the worst job ever.
