Pros

The company offers employees the opportunity to work from home which means you can set your own hours. The company is well funded through grants.

Cons

There is a lack of structure from leadership. When you inquire about more structure and clarity on that structure, you are met with "we hired people we didn't have to micromanage." Ironically, there is a lot of micromanagement from the CEO. The concept of helping families via an employer is great, but not many employers are buying into the model. If they are, the services are offered at $5 per person. You need a lot of $5 to make up a Navigator's salary.

It's true, we are a startup, and we're definitely not the right fit for everyone. We're doing something completely new, which means there's not always a crystal clear roadmap to follow, and we look to everyone on our team -- managers as well as other employees -- to contribute new ideas and help solve challenges. We think that's exciting and affords talented people lots of room to grow. If you're motivated by our mission, inspired by the work of supporting families, and ready to start knocking down barriers, check us out.
