Pros

school year only highest pay in the area until the gov't stops funding the program great morning hours

Cons

Not Teaching at ALL ! No room for teachers to be creative. Must stick to the strict laid out curriculum and guidelines. focuses way too much on behavior and self awareness development rather then educational teaching. No lunches until the end of the day, must eat what the students are eating from public school lunch or wait until the end of the day to eat. Need a doctor note to bring your own food and to use the microwave. Management wants you to abide my USDA children food guidelines, like Hello i'm an adult!!! Way to much wasted federal gov't money: Teacher:Student ratio is ridiculous! Never a full capacity classroom due to students attendance. Some days it would be minimum of 5 kids, maximum of 14, on any given day. Can open more classrooms if they didn't have 4 teacher per room!!!! Many upper management positions that do nothing but sit all day. I mean come on is it that much paperwork? Way to many departments and titles to cover the Federal, State, Local and City grants they receive, which in my opionion is a lot of wasted tax payer dollars!
