Cold food makes Sigma Alimentos hot stuff. The company is one of Mexico's top producers of refrigerated and frozen foods. Sigma sells its processed meat, cheese, yogurt, and frozen prepared meals in traditional corner stores and modern supermarkets throughout the country. Its brands include El Cazo Mexicano, Fud, and Del Prado. Sigma, the food division of conglomerate Alfa, has exclusive rights to distribute ConAgra Banquet brand frozen foods and General Mills' Yoplait yogurt in Mexico. The company also owns the US's Bar-S Foods. Its products are also available in the Caribbean, Central America, and the US. Sigma operates from locations in Costa Rica, Guatemala, El Salvador, Mexico, and the US.
