Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Automotive Technician to join our service team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair, maintenance, and diagnostics, with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. This role involves performing repairs, inspections, and troubleshooting on a variety of vehicle makes and models, ensuring customer safety and satisfaction. Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair automotive issues using schematics, diagnostic tools, and mechanical knowledge
• Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire rotations, brake repairs, and fluid replacements
• Utilize hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to complete repairs and assembly tasks
• Read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and repair guides to accurately identify problems
• Conduct safety inspections and ensure all work complies with industry standards and regulations
• Assist with vehicle inspections, troubleshooting electrical systems, and performing heavy lifting when necessary
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote safety and efficiency
• Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs needed and ensuring customer satisfaction

Experience

• Prior dealership experience is highly preferred but not mandatory; relevant mechanic experience is acceptable
• Proficiency in automotive repair techniques including welding, assembly, and mechanical troubleshooting
• Familiarity with schematics, maintenance procedures, and the use of hand tools and power tools
• Experience working with vehicle electrical systems and diagnostics tools is a plus
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work on vehicles for extended periods
• Strong mechanical knowledge combined with excellent customer service skills to ensure quality work and client satisfaction

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $35.00-$42.84 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
