What We're Looking For
Well-capitalized startup seeks an extremely talented Performance Marketer to scale USA Tile Ecommerce revenue through paid acquisition, ROAS optimization, CAC control, retargeting, landing page testing, conversion rate optimization, and full-funnel customer acquisition experimentation.
This is not just a media buying role. We are looking for someone who can connect the entire customer journey: ad click, landing page, collection page, product page, sample order, checkout, purchase, retargeting, and repeat customer behavior.
You must have experience managing paid ads across platforms such as Google Ads, Meta Ads, retargeting, shopping/search campaigns, paid social, and conversion-focused ecommerce funnels. You must be able to identify weak landing pages, collection pages, product pages, offers, messaging, and conversion paths that are causing customer drop-off.
You must be data-driven, fast-moving, and capable of turning ad spend into profitable revenue.
Top-notch analytical thinking, creative testing, campaign optimization, landing page optimization, CRO, and growth experimentation skills are essential. Experience in scaling ads, ecommerce, data-driven marketing, Shopify, marketing optimization, or design-related products is strongly preferred.

Compensation will include above-average base salary, performance bonuses, and future equity sharing options.
Mission for Performance Marketer
Prove and scale paid marketing to 3.75x ROAS by End of Month 3 by identifying the highest-performing audiences, messages, channels, campaigns, landing pages, product pages, and customer acquisition loops for the company’s Tile Ecommerce growth engine.
Achieve 4.5 - 5x ROAS by End of Year 1 while identifying what keeps customers moving through the customer journey from awareness to trial, sample order, checkout, purchase, repeat order, referral, and long-term retention.
What You’ll Do
- Manage paid ad campaigns across Google, Meta, retargeting, Shopping, Search, and other high-potential channels.
- Improve ROAS, CAC, CPC, CTR, conversion rate, sample order rate, purchase conversion, and paid revenue.
- Test audiences, offers, messages, creatives, landing pages, collection pages, product pages, and checkout flows.
- Identify weak landing pages, collection pages, product pages, offers, and funnel steps causing conversion drop-off.
- Diagnose where customers are leaving the funnel and recommend improvements to increase conversion.
- Identify the top-performing customer segments, channels, offers, and acquisition loops.
- Increase sample orders, trial behavior, add-to-cart rate, checkout completion, and purchase conversion.
- Work with the Product Manager, Data Analyst, and Software Engineer to improve website conversion and customer journey performance.
- Use GA4, Shopify analytics, Google Ads, Meta Ads, heatmaps, funnel tracking, and customer behavior data to find growth opportunities.
- Build and optimize retargeting campaigns based on customer behavior across the funnel.
- Scale referral, organic social, review, and user-generated content campaigns.
- Help turn paid marketing insights into stronger landing pages, better messaging, improved product discovery, and higher-converting ecommerce experiences.
What You Need to Bring
- Proven experience managing ecommerce ad budgets and improving ROAS.
- Strong knowledge of Google Ads, Meta Ads, retargeting, Shopping campaigns, Search campaigns, tracking, and attribution.
- Experience improving ecommerce landing pages, product pages, collection pages, and conversion funnels.
- Ability to identify weak landing pages, diagnose conversion drop-off, and recommend high-impact improvements.
- Strong understanding of CAC, ROAS, conversion rate, CPC, CTR, AOV, sample order rate, checkout completion, and revenue impact.
- Ability to test creative, audiences, landing pages, offers, messaging, and funnel paths quickly.
- Strong analytical ability and comfort using data to make decisions.
- Bias for action, ownership, and fast experimentation.
- 3–5 years of performance marketing or ecommerce growth experience.
- Experience executing and optimizing paid media campaigns.
- Experience managing $50k+/month in ad spend.
- Shopify, GA4, Google Tag Manager, Looker Studio, heatmap tools, or ecommerce analytics experience is strongly preferred.
