Position Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic CNC Machinist & Programmer with experience in CAM software to join our growing company. In this role, you will be an integral part of our production process, operating and maintaining CNC Milling and Lathe machines to produce high-quality, precision parts. You’ll work on diverse projects, ensuring each piece meets our exacting standards while working with a variety of metals.
Critical Skills Required:
- Proficiency in multi-axis CNC machining
- Expertise in high-mix, low-volume manufacturing
- Experience with CAM software (GibbsCAM, Fusion 360, MasterCAM, etc.)
- Several years of experience in CNC machining applications, including programming and setup
Technical Skill Requirements:
- Strong knowledge of CNC machine setup, operation, and troubleshooting
- Proficient with precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, height gauges, dial indicators, etc.)
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications
- Strong knowledge of machining processes and material types
- Familiarity with toolpath generation and post-processing
- Ability to optimize machining cycles for speed and accuracy
- Basic understanding of G-code and M-code programming
- Excellent knowledge of quality control standards, including surface finish, tolerance, and dimensional verification
Work Schedule:
- Dayshift position: 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday through Friday
- Overtime may be required

Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a CNC Operator
- Proficient in any CAM software (GibbsCAM, Fusion 360, MasterCAM, etc.)
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent problem-solving skills and adaptability
- Eagerness to take on new challenges and projects
- Forklift certification is desirable but not required
- Proficiency with Steel turning and Gas and Oil Industry an asset
