The Opportunity: Sawmill Supervisor

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who has a keen appetite to grow their career in the forest manufacturing industry.

Reporting to the Operations Superintendent, the Supervisor is responsible for driving safety, production and quality in the Sawmill. The Supervisor ensures that objectives for production are met on a consistent basis, coordinates production with maintenance and clean up schedules, manages performance, provides guidance and communicates effectively with all employees on the shift.

This position forms a key part of our leadership team and will collaborate within the immediate team and across the organization to safely deliver the required results and meet high performance and quality standards.

Candidates must have a firm and steadfast commitment to the Occupational Health and Safety Program and to assuring the quality of our products. In addition, candidates must demonstrate leadership skills, strong and effective communication skills along with an ability to engage others and foster a respectful workplace. Familiarity with the lumber manufacturing process and computer skills are required. Sawmill production experience is preferred.

The salary range for this position is $98,411 – 113,173 annually
