Key Responsibilities

As Sales Manager, you will play a critical leadership role in driving dealership performance, developing team members, and ensuring an exceptional customer experience.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Lead, coach, and motivate the sales team to achieve and exceed performance objectives
• Foster a positive, energetic, and accountable team culture
• Monitor and manage lead response and follow-up processes across all sales channels
• Train and develop sales consultants to improve product knowledge, sales effectiveness, and customer satisfaction
• Lead by example in prospecting, customer relationship management, and sales best practices
• Collaborate closely with the F&I team to maximize customer satisfaction and dealership performance
• Analyze sales performance, identify opportunities, and implement effective solutions
• Ensure compliance with Volkswagen brand standards and GAIN Group of Companies policies and procedures
• Support the execution of marketing initiatives, customer engagement activities, and dealership events
• Participate in ongoing training and leadership development opportunities
• Contribute to the continued growth and success of Volkswagen Victoria and the GAIN Group of Companies

Qualifications

• Proven automotive sales leadership experience
• A strong track record of achieving sales targets while maintaining exceptional customer satisfaction
• Outstanding leadership, coaching, and team-building skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• The ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment
• Experience with import or luxury automotive brands is considered an asset
• Current VSA license or the ability to obtain one
• A valid driver's licence with a clean driving record
• Successful completion of a criminal record check and driver's abstract upon hire

Pay: $95,000.00-$135,000.00 per year

Experience:

• Automotive Sales: 5 years (preferred)
• Automotive Sales Management: 2 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

• Current VSA (or the ability to obtain) (required)
• Driving Licence (required)
