We are one of the top practices in the country at IG Private Wealth Management, focused on delivering integrated financial planning to high-net-worth families and business owners for the past 30+ years.

We’re seeking a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) who has extensive experience in corporate tax and advanced tax strategies to play a key role in deepening client relationships and expanding our advisory capabilities.

This is not a traditional accounting role. You will operate as a strategic partner to a team of senior financial advisors, helping clients make better long-term decisions across corporate and personal tax planning.

Responsibilities

• Act as the in-house tax strategist supporting a team of senior financial advisors
• Develop and implement advanced tax strategies for high-net-worth individuals and business owners
• Provide planning guidance on: i) corporate structures and reorganizations, ii) owner-manager compensation (salary vs. dividends), iii) tax-efficient income planning and withdrawal strategies
• Collaborate with both internal specialists at IG Wealth Management and external professionals (lawyers, accountants) while positioning the firm as the quarterback of the client’s financial life
• Translate complex tax concepts into clear, actionable advice for clients and team
• Support business development by enhancing the firm’s value proposition to attract and retain affluent clients

Who You Are

• CPA designation (required); preference given to CA’s
• 8+ years of experience
• Strong technical knowledge of specialized tax strategies for incorporated professionals and business owners
• Comfortable in a client-facing advisory role, not just behind-the-scenes compliance
• Strong communicator who can simplify complex planning concepts
• Entrepreneurial mindset with interest in growing alongside a wealth advisory team
• Experience working with or alongside financial advisors or family offices is a strong asset

Pay: $95,000.00-$110,000.00 per year
