Position Summary
Recommends, installs, and maintains end-user computing devices, operating systems, and productivity tools. The incumbent will primarily focus on helpdesk support, device provisioning, and end-user training, along with administration and support of the Microsoft 365 environment.
This role is responsible for providing timely troubleshooting and resolution of hardware, software, and access issues, while ensuring users are equipped to use technology effectively.
Minimum Qualifications and Position Requirements
· Successful completion of post-secondary diploma or degree in computer technology, information systems, or a related field.
· Minimum two (2) years of relevant experience in a helpdesk or end-user support environment.
· Experience supporting Microsoft 365 services, including Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, and Intune.
· Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems and endpoint device management.
· Experience with device provisioning, configuration, and lifecycle management (laptops, mobile devices, peripherals).
· Familiarity with identity and access management concepts (e.g., Entra ID)
· Understanding of basic networking concepts and troubleshooting
Skills and Competencies
Demonstrated ongoing effective ability to do the following:
· Provide responsive and professional end-user support in a helpdesk environment.
· Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, connectivity, and access issues.
· Provision, configure, deploy, and maintain end-user devices.
· Support and administer Microsoft 365 applications and services.
· Deliver one-on-one and group training to end users on systems and tools.
· Work independently with minimal supervision while managing competing priorities.
· Demonstrate initiative, sound judgement, tact, and diplomacy in all interactions.
· Use operating systems, application software, and collaboration tools at an advanced level.
· Organize and adapt to changing workloads in a dynamic environment.
· Interpret and apply technical documentation, licensing, and security requirements.
· Communicate effectively with excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills

· Maintain up-to-date immunization according to the Ontario Publicly Funded Immunization Schedule and/or the most recent edition of the Canadian Immunization Guide and the National Advisory Committee on Immunization as per the Legacy Peterborough Public Health’s policy,
· TB skin testing is required at the onset of employment and may be required as part of routine TB surveillance or follow-up of potential exposures
