Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager specializing in Mechanical Construction to oversee and coordinate complex construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, technical expertise, and a comprehensive understanding of construction processes. This role involves managing project timelines, budgets, and resources while ensuring safety and quality standards are met. The Project Manager will serve as the primary point of contact for clients, subcontractors, and internal teams, ensuring seamless communication and project execution.
Duties
- Lead and manage all phases of mechanical construction projects, including planning, scheduling, and execution.
- Develop detailed project plans utilizing construction management software such as ProCore, Primavera P6, and HeavyBid.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate implementation of project specifications.
- Prepare and review construction estimates and budgets; monitor costs throughout the project lifecycle.
- Coordinate with engineers, architects, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure timely procurement of materials and services.
- Utilize construction estimating tools and Civil 3D for site layout and design coordination.
- Oversee safety protocols on-site to maintain a safe working environment for all personnel.
- Track project progress using construction management software; adjust schedules as necessary to meet deadlines.
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality standards are upheld.
- Manage project documentation, including change orders, RFIs, and progress reports.
- Facilitate effective communication among stakeholders to resolve issues promptly.
- Manage commissioning, deficiency resolution, and turnover processes.
- Coordinate submission of as-built drawings, O&M manuals, and warranty documentation.
- Ensure successful project completion and client satisfaction.
Skills
- Proficiency in blueprint reading, schematics, and technical drawings.
- Experience with construction management software such as ProCore, Bluebeam, etc.
- Strong knowledge of construction estimating processes and tools.
- Expertise in mechanical systems within the construction industry.
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to coordinate multiple teams simultaneously.
- Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines under pressure.
- Familiarity with construction safety standards and protocols.
- Ability to interpret technical schematics and engineering documents accurately.

Qualifications
Minimum 5+ years of project management experience in mechanical construction.
Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, hydronic, and mechanical systems.
Proven experience managing commercial, institutional, healthcare, or industrial projects.
Strong understanding of construction contracts, budgeting, and cost controls.
Experience managing subcontractors and coordinating multiple project stakeholders.
Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications, and contract documents.
Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills.

Pay: $40.00-$50.00 per hour
