Your days will include:

• Servicing, repairing, adjusting, and testing refrigeration & boiler equipment
• Recording temperature data at designated times to condition product
• Performing water testing procedures
• Reporting anomalies to appropriate personnel
• Follows established departmental policies and procedures with respect to continuous quality improvement and safety (WHMIS)
• Minimizing downtime by performing preventative maintenance, mechanical troubleshooting, and hands-on corrective actions
• Presenting a positive and professional image of HyLife in all interactions

To succeed in this role, you must possess:

• Must have a valid 2nd Class Power Engineers certificate or be actively working toward certification, with several exams successfully completed
• Ammonia Refrigeration and Mechanical experience
• Conscious of all Workplace Safety policies including but not limited to MSDS, WHMIS, lockout & tag out, fall protection, and quality assurance
• Able to work independently and as a team member
• Leadership qualities, including the ability to instruct and maintain effective and efficient productivity from departmental personnel
