We are seeking a Development Manager to lead multifamily, commercial, and land development projects through critical stages of planning and execution. The Opportunity

As a Development Manager, you will lead projects from concept through approvals, design development, procurement, construction commencement, and ongoing project execution. You will serve as a trusted advisor to clients while coordinating consultants, contractors, municipalities, and stakeholders to advance projects toward successful outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead multifamily, commercial, mixed-use, and land development projects through all phases of development and construction
• Act as the primary point of contact for clients and key stakeholders
• Develop and manage project budgets, schedules, risk registers, and reporting
• Coordinate architects, engineers, planners, and specialty consultants
• Lead development approvals, permitting, and regulatory processes
• Manage consultant procurement, contract administration, and project documentation
• Monitor project performance and proactively address risks, issues, and opportunities
• Facilitate meetings, prepare project updates, and maintain stakeholder alignment
• Support construction execution through coordination, reporting, and issue resolution
• Contribute to continuous improvement of project management and development processes

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, Planning, Engineering Technology, Business, or a related field
• 4+ years of experience in development, project management, owner's representation, construction management, consulting, or a related field
• Experience managing multifamily, commercial, mixed-use, land development, or institutional projects
• Strong understanding of project planning, budgeting, scheduling, and risk management
• Knowledge of Alberta municipal approval and permitting processes
• Strong communication, leadership, and relationship-building skills
• Experience with Procore, Smartsheet, Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, or similar project management software is considered an asset

Pay: $82,725.74-$98,410.30 per year
