My interview experience with FAM was mixed and unfortunately did not meet the level of professionalism I expected from a large and reputable organization.
The process started positively: the team contacted me by phone (whatsapp), scheduled an online interview, and I joined on time as agreed. However, the recruiter’s attitude during the interview did not feel very professional or fully engaged. She kept saying (if you were selected) every other sentence.
After the interview, communication became even more concerning. Since the team had originally reached out to me through WhatsApp, I followed up through the same channel after a reasonable period of time. Despite reading the messages, neither the recruiter nor the coordinator responded. This lack of acknowledgment felt unprofessional, especially considering that they initiated the WhatsApp communication themselves.
After my un replied message, I eventually received an apology by email, which I appreciated, but it still left a negative impression regarding the consistency and reliability of the communication process.
For an organization of FAM’s size and status, I expected more timely, respectful, and consistent communication with candidates. Professional follow-up and clear responses, whether positive or negative,. are essential to maintaining a strong employer brand and candidate experience.
