I made a plan as per India's scenario. However the EPAM Director had no idea about India Hiring. He thinks if you schedule 5 interviews one will get selected. Has no idea that in India there is something called as "no-shows" If you schedule 5, there are chances that 2 won't come. So, in my plan I had room for no-shows, 1st round rejects, 2nd round rejects and HR discussion declines and offer declines too. I made a plan that focussed on Joining and not just lining-up candidates. But I think he needs to broaden his horizon and mature upto Indian market to understand all this.
