It is just their hiring process and not that important. They will give technical test after personality evaluation (sometimes technical test can be waived if your resume shows you have strong skills already). After passing technical test, there will be onsite interview. As long as the HR contacted you, it means they are interested in you and very likely you will have onsite interview with them soon. It is true that their personality test is boring, but your quitting the application did show some of your personalities in dealing with work right?
