Has anyone moved from individual contributor to manager and wished they could go back? I'm looking at the opportunity right now and I'm just nervous to go to babysitting.
Having a bit of a Tuesday crisis. I am wondering if anyone here has successfully negotiated a relocation package. I have to move to a different city for this new role. What are the must have items I should ask for in a moving stipend?
I'm curious. Do any of you have direct experience, either from the inside or because you actually followed through, with ultra low ball contracts? AMD seems to be the king these days. I had a recruiter ping me today about an AMD design role. The maximum rate hasn't been competitive for more than twenty years. I speculate that this is either fishing for what the market will accept or disingenuous due diligence to add or keep an H1. But does anyone have a case where they actually *know*?

I am thinking about asking for a performance review six months early. I have taken on two extra projects and I feel I am underpaid for my output. Is it too pushy to ask for more money before the annual cycle?
What's the university?
🤷... And?
