Having a bit of a Tuesday crisis. I am wondering if anyone here has successfully negotiated a relocation package. I have to move to a different city for this new role. What are the must have items I should ask for in a moving stipend?
Hey everyone, I just graduated and got an offer for $64k as a Civil Engineer in an HCOL metro area. Is this standard for entry-level civil, or am I getting lowballed? My roommate just pulled a $95k starting offer in cybersecurity, and it’s kind of making me question my career choice. I'm interested in hearing what others started at.
Offers are becoming harder to compare because compensation packages are getting ridiculous. Base salary, bonus, equity, sign-on, retention bonus, pension, allowances. How am I meant to compare 2 offers with so many variables???
I'm tired, depressed and exhausted from the continuous search for Junior job position. Parents are getting old and I feel like I'm dragging them down instead of supporting them. For the past year I have been looking for a job but met with either rejection or ghosting. I get freelancing jobs once in a while but they are not enough to pay the bills. So, if there is anyone that can help me get a job please don't hesitate. I'm in a dire situation right now.
I am seeing a lot of job ads in the UK that do not list the salary range at all. It feels like a total waste of my time to apply without knowing the pay. Tempted to start boycotting applications that hide the salary. Thoughts?
What's the university?
🤷... And?
