How much TIME do you spend preparing for an interview? 🤔
What could be good and reasonable answers for "Why are you leaving your current company?"
As a former recruiter, I ALWAYS spoke about comp with candidates right away, as it can be one of the fastest deal breakers. How are you addressing comp if it isn't brought up? I don't want to seem like that's the only thing, but it is an important thing. I'm not sure how to handle it. Thoughts?
What are some tips for a new job seeker coming out of prison with a violent felony expecially in the State of Oklahoma
I have a strong interview anxiety. I know I have a great potential because of my work ethic, values, experiences, and qualities as a person. But, how can I prove that to the panel if I'm super nervous and forget what to say at the moment. My anxiety ruins my opportunity to show them that I'm a great fit. I don't know how to overcome this.
Hey folks -- what’s a subtle interview red flag people should pay more attention to that most candidates ignore at first? I’ll start: - The interviewer constantly interrupts or seems distracted the whole time. - Nobody can clearly explain what the role actually involves day to day. - They dodge questions about turnover, onboarding, or why the role is open. - The interview feels weirdly adversarial for no reason. Anything else that comes to mind?
For most interviews I have a general idea of what I'll be talking about, so I might make some notes. And I might do some fast research on the company. But that would never take me more than an hour or two. I think too much preparation can work against me, I could go in with too much in my head and sound rehearsed. A little spontaneity is good.
Yes, if you already have alot of experience, you won't need to spend days preparing
Usually 30 minutes to an hour, depending on the job. I go through their website and check out their social media platforms. Reread the job description that kind of thing.
That works👌
Depends what the job is. For product and Senior Management roles, you might have to prepare a presentation or walk through architecture which needs a few days if you want to come off polished. Otherwise just a couple hours is usually enough for me.
Sorry i'm only seein this now. What does PM stand for in this case. Product, Project or Proposal Manager???
Probably an hour or two on average. A mix of interview questions, practice, and company research. Does depends a lot on the role, but too much practice actually kind of stresses me out more.
I'm still learning how to tbh 😂
Hopefully you can turn the nervous energy into confidence. Good luck!
A week at least
Not including a haircut, picking my suit up from the cleaners, or polishing my shoes. 24 hours.
True, but it's stuff that I do on a regular basis interview or not.
