Pros – Relative freedom to choose target markets
Low pressure environment
Fully expensed travel to meetings and entertaining
Established brand name offers security
Cash rich business

Cons – Lack of incentives and recognition for high achievers
Poor holiday entitlement (unless you have been there for more than 5 years)
Poor benefits package compared to the competition
Negative employees not dealt with and allowed to affect others
Lack of career progression

Advice to Senior Management – Incentivise staff
Provide competition on the sales floor
Place more of an emphasis on training, guidance and helping people "invest in themselves."
