Responsibilities:
- Design and create visually appealing and user-friendly websites using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to gather requirements and understand project objectives
- Develop wireframes, prototypes, and mockups using tools such as Balsamiq and Adobe XD
- Implement responsive design principles to ensure websites are optimized for various devices and screen sizes
- Create and optimize graphics, images, and other visual elements for web use
- Conduct user research and usability testing to improve website functionality and user experience
- Collaborate with developers to integrate front-end designs with back-end systems
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in web design
Requirements:
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other relevant web design languages
- Strong knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator) for graphic design purposes
- Experience with wireframing tools such as Balsamiq or Adobe XD
- Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) such as WordPress or SharePoint
- Understanding of information architecture principles to create intuitive website navigation structures
- Knowledge of front-end frameworks such as Angular or React is a plus
- Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Note: Experience with MySQL, Adobe Acrobat, Google Analytics, Less, or Adobe After Effects is a plus but not required.
