Responsibilities

  • Prepares physical samples in response to requests
  • Working with the team to revise the sample or create a new design until the Customer is satisfied
  • Maintains accurate computer & paper files of each prototype designed or created.
  • Provides size estimates for "ball park" quoting requirements.
  • Provides planograms, schematics and instruction sheets for client.
  • Request Quotes for Steel Rule Dies, and Order SRDs from suppliers.
  • Approves knock-offs from steel rule dies, returns samples to production and alerts the die department of any issues on same day.
  • Provide mock-ups when required to help enhance a design and promote sales.

· Designing Die Cuts (RRP’s and PDQ’s)

· -Develop & Prepare Design Drawings

· -Designing Displays (Counter Displays & POP’s)

Preferred Qualifications

· Willingness to learn quickly

· -ArtiosCad

· -C.A.P.E. Palletization Software

· -Adobe Illustrator

· -Kongsberg Cutting Table

· Strong knowledge of all aspects of folding carton converting

· Knowledge of paperboard substrates and their application to design criteria

· Proficiency with software such as Artios CAD, Microsoft Office, and Adobe Illustrator

· Basic understandings of all aspects of folding carton converting including printing, graphics, die cutting, gluing and tooling

Job Types: Permanent, Full-time

Salary: $45,000.00-$55,000.00 per year
