We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to join our staff. The Software Developer is eager to learn new technologies and can easily grasp new systems. Candidate should have a great personality and enjoy working in a team environment. This is a full time, permanent position with an excellent benefits package and room for growth.

Main Duties:

Design and create scalable software
Write clean, functional code on the front- and back- end

Testing and fixing bugs or other coding issues
Plan, execute and communicate project deliverables, tasks and deadlines

Preferred Skills & Experience:

Previous experience with Back-End programming in PHP and web development
Strong technical skills in web-based technologies: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Bootstrap framework, jQuery library, Ajax, PHP, MVC pattern, SQL databases (MySQL), REST API.
UI and UX design skills for Front-End developer, Git, MySQL Workbench, Web Server Administration
Coachable, willing to learn, and ready to try new things
Demonstrate a passion for technology and are up for a challenge
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
Organisational skills; both analytical and problem solving

Experience:

Back-End programming in PHP and web development – 1 year minimum
UI and UX design skills for Front-End developer – preferred

Salary Range - $50,000 - $60,000

We will provide some training on the internal systems necessary to do the job, although a minimum level of experience and skills is required for this position. You will have a manager who will be available to help you through this process.
