Dawn InfoTek Inc. is a professional IT consulting team that partners with major financial institutions, investment firms and government sectors. We have been dedicated to delivering cutting-edge consulting services and recruiting all levels of IT positions for our clients.

We are currently seeking competent individuals to fulfill the role of Business Analyst to join our dynamic team for our client.

  • Review and provide feedback on documents such as requirements, conversion strategy, testing strategy by external or internal teams.
  • Produce business analysis related documentation, including (functional and non‐functional) requirements & user stories, current and future state processes and workflows, and solution specifications to a high‐quality standard
  • Conceive, propose and facilitates the selection of viable functional solution alternatives
  • Works with business and solution teams to ensure that solutions being delivered meet business intent and provide business value
  • Demonstrates requirements traceability and leads the User Acceptance phase of initiatives (define strategy, plan, approve test cases, oversee execution). Works with Business, Solutions Engineering and QA to ensure built solutions meet stated requirements.
  • Participates in the initiation and planning of projects ‐ including facilitating the definition of objectives, scope, and deliverables as well as provide Business Analysis work estimates.
  • Contributes to the operation and improvement of the delivery team
  • Work with QA teams to develop test plans and ensure QA understand the business requirements and are able to test solutions appropriately

What you will need

  • University degree or equivalent experience (Business/Finance, Financial Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering
  • Minimum 7 years’ experience in business analysis or Corporate Finance areas delivering medium to large size projects. Experience in GL replacement projects will be a definite asset.
  • Subject matter expertise in the Corporate Finance areas, including, but not limited to, General Ledger & COA, Planning, Budgeting and Forecasting, Account Payment and Procurement, Financial Management Reporting, Legal Entity Reporting, Tax Operations, Treasury and Internal Controls.
  • Experience in data modelling, using SQL or similar language
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)

Salary: $75.00-$85.00 per hour
