Senior Analyst is responsible for executing all activities related to Time and Attendance processes, enhancements, defects and system upgrades. This role provides guidance and support to Global HR Services team members, and ensures all activities (auditing and updating time/leave data, process Time files to support biweekly payroll processes) are complete and in accordance with the Bank’s policies and procedures.

  • Collaborate with technical vendors and other stakeholders to resolve discrepancies and identify gaps and opportunities to enhance the Time and Attendance system
  • Collaborate with members across Time and Attendance and Technology to raise defects, create test cases, perform UAT on system solutions for successful deployment
  • Process complex Time activities in a timely and accurate manner, ensuring the integrity of time/payroll data
  • Provide guidance to HR Services operations in completing and processing time activities, investigating and resolving discrepancies/errors, escalate issues to Technology partners for resolution, where appropriate
  • Assist with the project execution of time enhancements and initiatives providing insights and ensuring efficiency within Time & Attendance and downstream payroll systems; including documentation of requirements and system testing
  • Ensures proper completion of bi-weekly exporting activities
  • Champions a customer focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems and knowledge
  • Ensures the processing and completion of all Time and Attendance data are in compliance with the Bank’s policies and procedures, and regulatory requirements
  • Understands how the Bank’s risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in day-to-day activities and decisions
  • Actively pursues effective and efficient operations within their respective areas, while ensuring adequacy, adherence to and effectiveness of day-to-day business controls to meet obligations with respect to operational risk, regulatory compliance risk, AML/ATF risk and conduct risk, including but not limited to responsibilities under the Operational Risk Management Framework, Regulatory Compliance Risk Management Framework, AML/ATF Global Handbook and the Guidelines for Business Conduct

Education/Experience Required:

  • Post-secondary Degree or Diploma in Accounting or Business or related field
  • PCP or CPM designation is considered an asset
  • Previous experience in payroll and accounts payable processing preferred
  • Deep understanding and knowledge of Bank policies and procedures
  • Strong knowledge of Organizational structure and complexity
  • Strong knowledge of payroll policies, processes and practices
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Attentive to details and deadlines; ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Experience with transaction processing and data management
  • Strong analytical skills
