We are looking for an individual with exceptional ability in identifying and communicating data-driven insights that allow executives, managers, and stakeholders in the organization to make more informed decisions.

Responsibilities include:

  • Compiling and analyzing workforce data and metrics from the human resource information system (Workday), and ancillary systems (i.e. financials, payroll (Dayforce) etc.
  • Understanding the linkages and flow of data sets between the systems (i.e. how does data in Abiliti affect Workday and vice versa) and recommend improvements where feasible.
  • Monitoring KPIs/People Priorities results vs targets. Identify gaps, dependencies, and patterns. Provide insights and look for ways to predict future outcomes.
  • Research external trends, benchmarks etc., and make recommendations with respect to the relevance to company goals.
  • Support Executive reporting by proactively providing schedule by gathering insights and supplying relevant charts with data/statistics for trends and patterns.
  • Responsible to design custom and/or configured reports in Workday as required. Ability to write and publish to the intended audience.
  • Assist managers with reporting requests. Teach them how to interpret the data and encourage self-sufficiency.

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, or related field. Master’s degree in data Analytics would be an asset.
  • 3+ years of experience working in the analytics field preferably in HR.
  • 2+ years of experience improving employees experience and performance management through data analysis.
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office Suite skills.
  • Power BI skills.
  • Workday report writing skills.
  • Capacity to apply discretion and maintain a high level of confidentiality when handling sensitive information.
  • Ability to develop and manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
