- Such a great place to work with a real work/life balance that I've never seen elsewhere - Great perks such as bonus, 1 week of vacations added since the pandemic, Health-spending account of $400 per year for sport equipment, internet participation when you work from home - Give the choice to work on an hybrid model home/office or fully office or fully home - Low stress at the employee level

Cons

- Low salary - Health Benefits not competitive for an insurance company. My husband health benefits are better in an IT company than mine at iA - Managers are here to give you tasks and no managing your career internally to let you grow in the company - Should promote for real "internal opportunities" and not only saying it, it's hard to move internally because of the time zone. Some jobs are zoned to a city in Canada and if you are not in the same province (even for a WFH job) it's hard to get it.

Pros

The company takes great care of its employees and the new offices in Quebec city are an example of what post-covid hybrid work should be everywhere. Great benefits, very good money, and outstanding colleagues. I'm still very happy here.

Cons

Red tape and bureaucracy go WAY beyond strict compliance requirements. We speak to forms rather than people, a situation made worse when working remotely.

The Revenue package: salary + bonus + stock plan + a good number of holidays + insurance plan and REER + nice material for work + flexible work hours and work from home.

To future candidates don't get caught in the buzz words and titles and rankings best place to work blablabla.... try to reach out to people inside iA, or even in the team you will join. Keep in mind there is no work culture in iA, It is very variable and changes from a team to team and from project to project. The environment tends to be a very toxic one for business positions (which makes all the perks cited above valueless!!!) but it is surprisingly not the case generally for technical jobs teams such as software developers, architects etc.. Anyway, do your due diligence before taking the decision and make the move!

Toxic mid level management. Fire people the first of their return from sick leave in a very cold way for bogus reasons. Saw many instances of group intimidation, very bad culture
