RecommendsPositive OutlookApproves of CEOI have been working at World Of Wonder Productions for less than a year
Pros
This is a well run company. Every necessary position is filled. The budgets are lean, everyone works hard, but no one is doing two jobs. Equipment and positions that are needed are present. The people are kind and understanding, but with requisite deadlines.
Cons
The building is old, so the air-conditioning can get funky when it's hot. The edit bays on the second floor are small. It's a little crowded, which can get loud. The bull-pen aspect is great for collaboration, though.

Doesn't RecommendNeutral OutlookI worked at World Of Wonder Productions full-time for more than a year
Pros
Get some experience and get out..... Some nice people work there but they get jaded quickly by the toxic environment.... If you do a good job you will probably be left alone to get on with it but may not be rewarded
Cons
Low pay, selfish and cliquey culture.....hard to progress unless you suck up to the right cool in group...

Pros
World of Wonder is a small, close knit, community of producers, and documentarians whose subject matter is often on the fringe of normal programming. Great place to gain experience in all facets of production while learning on the job. Definitely sensitive to the balance of work and life. Huge pro there.
Cons
Promoting from within sometimes leads to titles that don't match experience levels. There are many seasoned vets under this roof, but also several folks with inflated titles.

I worked at World Of Wonder Productions for less than a year
Pros
Good company, organized, great staff, knowledgable individuals with the desire to perform to the best of their abilities. Communication was good.
Cons
The only con I can find is financial. Pay scale was about 10-15% lower than most production companies and they did not compensate for overtime.
