I worked at William Woods University part-time

    Pros

There were some people there who really make it worth working for William Woods.
There were people there that I was genuinely impressed with how knowledgeable they were and enjoyed learning from them.
Most jobs here don't require working outside of normal hours. When you clock out you are done.

    Cons

The pay is below average and benefits are not good.
There are many people in different departments who know absolutely nothing outside of their exact job. If you ask them about anything else they don't know.
The people at the top are not good people. The president in particular is a truly horrible person. She has created an environment that constantly supports anything she says and stomps out opinions she doesn't like. If an employee's child goes to school there and she doesn't like that employee she will make it well known to both the parent and the child.

    Advice to Management

Pay even a little bit more than what you do now.
Get rid of the president because she does nothing good for the university.

I worked at William Woods University part-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

William Woods was very good about working with my schedule. They allowed my the time off for the events I needed to be at. They also let me make my own hours. Going the extra mile provided me with valuable technical knowledge I would not have other wise received through the work I was doing.

    Cons

There was not enough people in the Online Campus Department. Therefore, a majority of the time everyone was overloaded with work and stressed out.

    Advice to Management

Hire more people for the Online Campus Department.

    Pros

All the other employees are very friendly and this helps create a welcoming atmosphere at the University. I love working here!

    Cons

Nothing really comes to mind at the moment. I've had a great experience ever since I have gotten to the University.

    Advice to Management

My boss is very nice, has an open door policy, and welcomes questions whenever we need help. Keep up the good work!
